SKATE THE DISTANCE
In the Skate the Bay long track speed skating marathon, skaters will speed around a 1000 meter groomed natural surface oval on Irondequoit Bay where one lap is approximately 6/10 mile.
Cheer alongside as the finest marathon speed skaters in the world compete in multiple race distances. Events include the Championship 50km race (i.e., 50 times around the 1km track) along with the long distance 25km and 10km races.
